Existential Crisis

Un-loving someone is'nt ever easy.

Specially when you want him to be a part of your life.

Un-loving someone is'nt ever easy.

Specially when he's done nothing to make you hate him.

He's not cheated on you

Made no promises he did not keep

Did nothing that made you weep

Un-loving someone is'nt ever easy.

Specially when you loved him more then he loved you

When you still love him

Un-loving someone is'nt ever easy.

It's more difficult then loving him the first time.

I've always thought turning 30 would'nt be my expiry date but more my maturity date. The period in my life when I would really start living life. I would have the money, a career and hopefully someone to live it with. 30 wouldn't be the signpost that says going downhill, but instead it would be the opening up of the road ahead.

Now that marker is just a few days away. I have the money, the job I've been wanting to do in the past three years, the confidence that I can so pull it off. No man in sight but what the hell. Men aren't the be all and end all of my life. Atleast that's what I've taught myself to think.

But, one little thing that happened last night has put all that into question.

A measly little thing.

Maybe not so measly after all.
